Namaste, I am a heart-focused yoga teacher with a passion for sharing the beauty and joy of yoga.
After years of suffering from chronic fatigue and experiencing the profound healing effects of yoga, a deep gratitude for these teachings and a desire to share my love of yoga inspired me to travel to India to complete my first teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa/Flow with Tribe Yoga in January 2013.
This training was the catalyst to leave my 'fear-based safety net' of working in the corporate world and was the beginning of a lifelong journey. I have since completed training in Yin Yoga with Yin Therapy and have studied and practiced a variety of yoga styles in Australia, Guatemala, Mexico and India.
Classes encourage a strong emphasis on breath awareness and through the embodiment of asana (physical poses), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation, students are guided through a moving meditation, at the same time tuning into the needs of their own body and honoring themselves in the present moment.
The gift of yoga is an ongoing and evolving practice and every session is an opportunity for both teacher and student to learn and grow together.
